A Senior Appointment at Aytemiz

Erol Varlık has been appointed as the General Manager of Aytemiz A.Ş., as of 17 December 2019.

Erol Varlık graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Marmara University in 1999, started his career as a Business Analyst responsible for Retail Merchandising at the Fuel Marketing Department of BP Petrolleri A.Ş.

He served in the different duties such as Retail Sales Territory Manager in Ankara, Kayseri and Blacksea Regions at the BP Fuel Sales Organization which he joined on 2004, and Reporting and Consolidation Analyst responsible for Spain, Portugal, France, Greece and Turkey at the Southern Europe Region Performance team. Erol Varlık, who had been appointed as BP Planning Manager Turkey & Greece on 2006, held the positions of Retail and Commercial Fuels Performance Manager, Marketing Operations Support Manager and Strategy and Key Accounts Manager between the years of 2007 - 2013.

Between 2013 and 2016, he served as Senior Planning, Performance and Reporting Manager responsible for Retail, Supply and Logistics Finance Operations, and he was appointed as BP Sales Director in 2016 and as BP Turkey Retail Asset Operations Director affiliated to Investment Director of Europe in 2018.

Erol Varlık, for duration of last position, had executed BP Turkey growth program, which efficiency oriented and high financial discipline, with his experience in different disciplines such as marketing, sales, strategy, finance and investment, and created medium and long term strategic investment plans and completed the establishment and adaptation process of BP engineering organization.

Erol Varlık also completed master’s program with thesis on Numerical methods, at Business Administration Department, Marmara University in 2003, and he received the title of being first Turkish to be accepted into CAPs, BP's Global high-level leadership program, and successfully graduated from the same program in 2018.

Mr. Varlık is married and is father to one daughter.

Ahmet Eke shall continue to hold the office as a Member of the Board of Directors of Aytemiz A.Ş.
