Arias Will Be Sung For Victims of Violence This Time!

Le Div4s will make its Turkish debut in Istanbul in the 10th Anniversary Concert of the “No! to Domestic Violence” campaign.  All income from the concert which is to be held under sponsorship by Penti, co-sponsorship by Mavi, venue sponsorship by Zorlu Performance Arts Center, musical sponsorship by Borusan and event sponsorship by Most Production, will be donated to the Domestic Violence Hotline which supports victims of violence. 

LE DIV4S is a world-famous ensemble of four Italian sopranos with a vision to present a new singing concept to the public. This all-female ensemble brings an innovative interpretation of the most famous opera highlights by the greatest operatic composers in history.

Mozart, Bellini, Verdi and Puccini's most known and touching pieces are revised for the four voices, but always with respect to the original scores. The rest of the repertoire ranges over timeless Italian and international songs, presented with a full orchestra sound and sophisticated pop rhythms and vibes.

Denise, Isabella, Vittoria and Sofia who received classical music education has their debut in 2008 with Maestro Andrea Bocelli. Since then, beyond the prestigious and continuous collaborations with Maestro Bocelli around the world, they usually perform for important cultural institutions, international live events and TV shows. They are highly regarded for their artistic training and for the originality of their project.

Le Div4s will perform in Turkey for the first time in the week of World Women’s Day, 8 March, in Istanbul. The concert will be held in honor of the 10th anniversary of “No! to Domestic Violence” campaign of Hürriyet and for the benefit of the Domestic Violence Hotline providing 24/7 service within the scope of the campaign. All income from the concert to be held under sponsorship by Penti, co-sponsorship by Mavi, venue sponsorship by Zorlu Performance Arts Center, musical sponsorship by Borusan and event sponsorship by Most Production, will be donated to the Aralik Association for the benefit of the Domestic Violence Hotline which supports victims of violence.

Up to now, DIV4S performed in notable events/locations including the ONO Estadi (Palma de Mallorca), the Odeion of Erode Atticus and Salle de Megaron (Athens), the O2 Arena (London), the O2 (Dublin), the Phones 4u Arena (Manchester, formerly known as the MEN Arena), Grand Prix F1 (Singapore), the Sava Center Hall (Belgrade) in many cities ranging from Warsaw to Singapore, side by side with great international stars. About Domestic Violence Hotline

The Domestic Violence Hotline (0212 /0549 656 96 96) opened in 2007 within the scope of the “No! to Domestic Violence” campaign by Hürriyet provides services to victims of violence on a 24/7 basis. The line answered by expert psychologists and lawyers only has received 38 thousand calls until now. Helpline have been supported approximately 18 thousand victims of violence from every province in Turkey and 14 different countries. Among the callers of the Domestic Violence Hotline 92.8% were women, 4.3% were men and 2.9% were children and 2000 victims of violence, who suffered from emergency or life threatening circumstances, have been led to safety in cooperation with the security forces.

One in every two victims complains about physical violence. Nearly half of these victims are exposed to one or multiple types of violence as well as physical violence. One in every 3 victims states she/he is exposed to emotional violence. The percentage of the callers complaining about only social, economic or sexual violence is 26.
