BluTV and Doğan Holding have joined forces to establish "Fun Zone," a motivational center aimed at supporting the people in Hatay, particularly children, who are striving to rebuild their lives after the devastating earthquake that struck Kahramanmaraş on February 6.
A unique "container viewing hall" has been constructed to provide children affected by the earthquake with a delightful and enjoyable experience. At Fun Zone, children can immerse themselves in pedagogically supervised children's content from BluTV Kids and discovery+, engage in games and activities, and unleash their imagination by painting on the walls. Fun Zone will serve as a hub for both entertainment and various engaging activities, enabling children to socialize and participate in regular and sustainable workshops and events.
The establishment of BluTV Fun Zone was made possible through the collaboration of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, responsible for organizing humanitarian aid and cultural activities in Hatay, and the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality, along with the generous support of numerous stakeholders.
Doğan Group, along with all its affiliated organizations and the Aydın Doğan Foundation, remains committed to supporting and standing by the people of the region. In addition to providing shelter areas and a lifelong education scholarship project for 1,000 girls, Doğan Holding, Hepiyi insurance, and Doğan Trend Otomotiv have now partnered with BluTV to deliver on their commitment with the Fun Zone Motivation Center. Huawei has also contributed as the technology partner, lending its support to Fun Zone.
On Tuesday, May 9, the center was inaugurated in the presence of BluTV CEO Deniz Şaşmaz Oflaz, CMO Merve Naz Atmaca Özdurak, Doğan Holding Corporate Communications and Sustainability Senior Manager Selen Erdurak, actors Aybüke Pusat and Furkan Andıç, and a group of journalists.
With their eyes brimming with excitement, the children gathered to watch "Şeker Fareler," an original cartoon by BluTV, alongside the esteemed guests. The entire administration and management of BluTV Fun Zone, located in the Iskenderun EXPO area, has been handed over to the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality. BluTV Fun Zone is now open to all children and the general public.
