A Wide-ranging Technology Agreement by Doğan TV and NDS

Doğan TV, a subsidiary of Doğan Yayın Holding, and NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, a majority owned subsidiary of News Corporation, announed an agreement to deploy a broad range of NDS technologies and applications.

This will enable Doğan TV to launch an advanced digital interactive television service, namely D-SMART that will be available to households throughout the country.

While Dr. Abe Peled, Chairman and CEO of NDS, commented: "We believe that this cooperation between two industry leaders will change the way people are entertained and informed in Turkey."; Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ, CEO of DYH said: "The combination of NDS´ technology and our ambition for creativity will deliver substantial value for the Turkish audience."
