Domestic Violence Hotline: 0212 656 96 96
The purpose of the concert was to provide more funds for Domestic Violence Hotline to reach more women who are victims of domestic violence. Launched one and a half years ago, the hotline aims to give legal, psychological and medical help to these women.
Güldünya Tören got shot in the street by her brothers because of her relation with a boy unapproved by her family. While she was in the hospital fighting for survival, her brothers came along and killed the girl. Her family did not protect her, on the contrary, they let the guilty take her life. An album was produced in the name of Güldünya with the contribution of many singers.
