Dogan Holding is in the sustainability index

Doğan Holding is now a part of the BİST Sustainability Index, offered by Borsa Istanbul, for the companies to be a part of, depending on their success in the areas of corporate transparency, accountability, and sustainability.

Entering the BIST Sustainability Index, created in order to reveal how companies approach matters such as global warming, depletion of natural resources, the decline in water resources, health, security, and employment, which are important for Turkey and the entire world, and thus to ensure that their activities as well as the decisions they make can be assessed independently offers both prestige and a competitive edge for companies. The stock exchange management agreed to include Doğan Holding in the BİST Sustainability Index during the period November 2016 - October 2017. Corporate governance, public disclosure approaches, corporate web site, as well as the content quality of the financial reports and the annual reports were influential in the inclusion of the Holding in the index. During the process of being included in the index, companies are assessed entirely on publicly open information. 43 companies will be included in the BIST Sustainability Index during the period November 2016 - October 2017.
