Doğan Holding Attended the Awards Ceremony in NY

Doğan Holding received the "Gold Award" for its annual report 2007 given by MerComm Inc. at the 22nd International ARC Awards. The Awards Ceremony took place in NY City on September 18th at the Jumeirah Essex House.

Composed of over 90 prominent members of the international communications community, the ARC jury evaluates the entries based on the the values of creativity, clarity and effectiveness. In July, among over 1000 applications from 28 countries, Doğan Holding annual report 2007 had qualified the Gold Award in the classification “holding companies/Western Hemisphere”. The world giants like General Motors and General Electric were some of the other Gold Award winners in the same category, ie. overall evaluation of traditional formatted annual reports.

Said Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Özge Bulut Maraşlı in her speech at the Awards Ceremony, “This annual report shows the importance given by Doğan Holding to corporate governance and communication with stakeholders, and is a product of teamwork.”

As an ARC Gold Award Winner, Doğan Holding's annual report will be on display between 25 September – 15 October at the Museum for Arts and Crafts in Hamburg.
