Bora Yalınay Appointed as CFO of Doğan Holding

Bora Yalınay has been assigned as CFO Doğan Holding operating in the energy, fuel retailing, finance, internet-entertainment, industry, automotive, tourism, trade and real estate sectors. Yalınay started his duty at the Holding as CFO and Executive Board Member in charge of Financial Affairs as of July 29, 2019.

Having a long history which goes back 60 years, Doğan Holding continues its efforts focused on growth, efficiency and innovation. Ahmet Toksoy, CFO of the Group had been assigned as Member of the Board of Directors of Doğan Şirketler Grubu Holding A.Ş. last April in order to stay focused on risk and audit issues in particular in line with the Group's growth strategies. Having continued the duties of CFO until the appointment of a successor, Toksoy is handing over, as of today, his duty as CFO and Executive Board Member in Charge of Financial Affairs to Bora Yalınay who has more than 20 years of experience in international companies and publicly traded international and local companies.

Graduated from the Economics department of Bilkent University in 1997, Bora Yalınay embarked on his career the same year at Deloitte Istanbul office where he finally served as a senior manager, and then assumed duties in Deloitte Canada office between 2000 and 2002.

Following an auditing experience of more than 10 years and financial control experience of 1 year in Yaysat, he continued his career as General Manager of Financial Control at Yıldız Holding in 2019 He served as CFO of Ülker Bisküvi between 2010 and 2016, and carried out several acquisition, sales and merger projects, a process initiated in line with the company's financial restructuring in 2010, and completed overseas finance projects worth USD 1 billion, and led the secondary public offering process in 2013 Between 2015 and 2016, he served as Vice President of Financial Affairs in charge of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Romania, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, an Pakistan operations of Ülker Bisküvi. During that duty, he managed a team consisting of more than 200 finance specialists in six different geographies. In the scope of his duty at Ülker, he also managed the financial operations of Yıldız Holding's central purchasing company.

Specialized are restructuring, investor and analyst relationships, finance, public offering, cost optimization, financial planning and analysis, Bora Yalınay most recently served as CFO of Gürallar Group between 2016 and 2019, and executed the first overseas finance and overseas growth projects of the Group.

Holder of a Certified Public Accountant Certificate, Yalınay has a good command of English and is father to one kid.

Ahmet Toksoy will continue to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors and assume duties in various committees.
