Disclosure on recent media news

In the news that were published in the media yesterday and today, it is stated that an indictment is being prepared for the members who have served in the POAS Board of Directors during the period when our Company was a shareholder at Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. ("POAŞ") and for some senior executives with reference to 56 customs entrance statements within the scope of fuel oil importation procedures of POAŞ between 2003 and 2007.

In the above mentioned news, the names of some former senior executives who are currently members in our Board of Directors, and also who have worked in the POAŞ Board of Directors in the mentioned period. There are no official notices that have been served to the above mentioned individuals about the matter.

The activities of POAŞ, which was a public company during the term 2003-2007 as well, have continuously been subject to the audit of the relevant public entities. It is deemed that the allegations that have appeared in such news, towards some former senior executives who are currently members in our Board of Directors, and also who have worked in the POAŞ Board of Directors do not have any legal grounds, and that they do not reflect the reality. Therefore, our Company will take the necessary legal steps in due with regards to the protection and defence of the above mentioned members of our Board of Directors, and also our former Senior Executives.

The above mentioned legal process is not expected to cause any effects on the activities of our Company as well its financial statements.
