Our 70% subsidiary Galata Wind announces that SunSpark GmbH – wholly owned subsidiary of Galata Wind that coordinates the renewable energy investments in Europe – has signed two separate agreements today (June 25, 2025) with a Germany-based company for the acquisition of two solar power plant (SPP) projects with capacities of 9 MW and 12 MW, respectively.
Under the terms of the agreements, and subject to contractual conditions, closing requirements, and any applicable price adjustments, SunSpark GmbH aims to acquire these projects and complete the transfer and closing transactions accordingly.
The projects are located in southern Germany and will include the development of Agri-PV (Agricultural Photovoltaics) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Construction is expected to commence upon the completion of the approval processes.
Recall that Galata Wind targets the installment of 300 MW renewable energy capacity in Europe until 2027. Upon the completion of these acquisitions, Galata Wind’s total targeted capacity in Germany will reach 83 MW, comprising of 43 MW in Agri-PV and 40 MW in BESS. The entire capacity is designed to be connected through a single grid connection point, aiming to ensure system integrity.
Further developments regarding the matter will be shared with the public in due course.
Respectfully announced to the public and our shareholders.
