Announcement Regarding Galata Wind’s Capacity Expansion of Mersin WPP

As announced in the public disclosure dated 5 May 2025, our 70% subsidiary Galata Wind Enerji A.Ş. has completed the final phase of its additional capacity investment at the Mersin Wind Power Plant.
With the commissioning of one more wind turbine—Vestas V162, with an installed capacity of 6.2 MW—the total number of turbines at the site has reached 26. Following the official acceptance by the Ministry, the final installed capacity of the plant has increased to 99.9 MWm / 95.85 MWe as of 4 June 2025.
In line with the company’s target of exceeding 1,000 MW of installed capacity by the end of 2030, Galata Wind’s total installed capacity has now reached 354.1 MW.
With its operational wind and solar power plants, Galata Wind currently generates approximately 1 billion kWh of electricity annually and contributes to an estimated 490,000 tons of CO₂ emissions reduction.
